Project 15: Remake of WWF's Logo

I am always a nature and a wildlife lover, so i decided to create my own version of WWF's logo, but before i explain more about my own design, let me explain briefly about this organization "WWF". WWF is an international non-governmental organization working on issues regarding the conservation, research and restoration of the environment.

I believe that in order to care for our environment, the best way is always to educate our next generation about the benefits of caring of our environment, and lead them in the correct direction. I think that the current logo is too "mature" and not attractive enough for their age, thus, i decided to design a "friendlier" version of the original logo.

First, let me show you guys the original version of the logo.

In order to create maintain the original style of the logo, i decided to reuse the colors and the panda. Thus i opened up my adobe illustrator and drew a cartoon version of a panda using wacom tablet.

After applying the various colors on different parts of the body, i continue applying color on the other parts of the body.

Now, it's time to included the words "WWF" in the design, so that it will look like a finished product.

Project 14: Portfolio's Webpage

It's end of august and portfolio submission date is near, so i decided to create a sample of my portfolio's webpage so that i am able to upload my works onto it when my portfolio is due for submission. To get started, i brainstorm some of the ideas that i am going to be included onto my portfolio. To create my own style that truly reflects on myself as this is my portfolio. My favorite color is brown and black so i am going to include these colors in my portfolio webpage.

I opened up the adobe dreamweaver and started creating the layout of my webpage, not only that, i created some small little symbols that i am going to include in my webpage in photoshop. This is how the homepage looks like.

I decided to maintain the layout for the whole of my webpage, thus i retain the same layout for other pages.

Project 13: Drink Driving Poster

I came across a video that shows drink driving, it's show how vulnerable humans is, a freak accident may costs them for their lives. Drink driving is a very irresponsible act, it doesn't only endanger your life, it also endanger innocent peoples' lives. So as a driver myself, i decided to spread this message by designing a poster about drink driving and make sure people think twice before doing anything foolish.

I created the background inside photoshop to showcase the surface of a road, with some effects towards it, it showcase the uneven surface of the road.

Next, i added some "cracks" on the design to showcase the cracks on the road that the accident had caused.

In everyone's mind, when we think of the word "accident", we will think of blood or blood stains, thus i decided to include the blood stains that i had created from photoshop brushes, as well as include some uneven light sources at the sides of the design to showcase the feeling "gloomy".

 












Lastly, i added the words in the poster to make it look like a finished product.

Project 12 Part 4: ChicArt Magazine "Online Webpage"

Finally! This is the final stage of this project, i am going to design a online webpage of this magazine, so to get started, i opened up the Adobe Dreamweaver to create the style and layout of the webpage. First i design the home page of the webpage.

Then, i design the "About us" page for this webpage.

Then, i design and created the "Articles page" for the webpage.

Lastly, i design and created the last part of the page which is the "subscription page".

Project 12 Part 3: ChicArt Magazine "Article Page"

For this part of the project, i am going to design a piece of the "article page" for the magazine. So after done much research, i chose the topic "Breaking the rules of design" as the article that i am going to design a article page for. So to get started, i took a piece of "bokeh effect" photograph to be used as the background of the magazine, another reason why i chose to use bokeh effect photograph is because that i have used the similar style images for both my cover and content page. So in order to retain the same style, i chose this.

Next, i placed a dark column on the middle part of the page because i am going to put a model there later on. *Please click of the image for bigger picture if you couldn't see the darker column.

Next, i went to this website Stock,xchng for some pictures of fashion icons. After i found the pictures i wanted, i cropped them in the photoshop and pasted them on my design.

Lastly, i added words and titles on the design and after some final touch-up, the design is finished.

Project 12 Part 2: ChicArt Magazine "Content Page"

For this part of the project, i am going to design the content page of the magazine, in order to maintain the style of the magazine, i decided to use the same background that i have used for the cover page of the magazine.

Next i added the lines on the bottom part of the background.

Now, it's time to add the "page numbers" on the lines and i wanted it to look unique, thus, i used the format of numbers as "0203" or "0506".

Next, i will add the names of the articles that will be featuring inside the magazine, it will be placed beside the "page numbers"
